Get involved
For tradesmen who want brothers, for neighbors who want to help, and for organizations that want to work with the Guild.
Join as a tradesman
Membership is for practicing Catholic men, 16 and older, who work in the skilled trades full time or part time, or who have retired from them. Shop owners, the self-employed, and employees are all welcome. Plumbers, electricians, carpenters, roofers, masons, painters, HVAC, welders, mechanics, and the trades between.
What membership asks of a man:
- The membership pledge and the Guild's ethical standards, signed before orientation.
- At least 16 hours, two service days, of designated charity work a year: parish work days and home repairs for people in need.
- Six of the twelve monthly formation meetings or Guild Masses and holy hours a year.
- Dues, by membership tier below. A man facing real hardship talks to an officer and it is handled case by case.
- From 2027, a sponsor from among current members.
In return: the Guild's Masses, holy hours, and retreats, formation and courses, the tool library and shop space, and a listing in the member directory for men who run their own shops, with referrals from the men who know your work.
