The Guild has been working quietly for the better part of a year. Members have traded labor, prayed together, and given days of work to Saint Mary of Victories. Most of that happened by phone and word of mouth.
This site changes two things. First, anyone who needs a repair and does not know who to call can ask the Guild. Second, anyone who has hired a member and liked the work can find the rest of us in the directory.
What I hope for is simple. A widow with a broken furnace finds a name she can trust. A young man with a truck and a license finds brothers. And the men who have been doing this work quietly for a year get seen.
